I'm looking for a manual for my 1974 AMC J10 truck. I have turned it into an ice cream truck and have have put a lot of work into it. Now I am having problems with the transmition. It has a chevy turbo 400 3 speed tranny in it. I pulled the pan off the other day and there was a wire hanging down in the pan. I don't know if this has anything to do with it because I can't tell where it goes. I really need a tranny manual. I am getting park, reverse, nuteral, and drive but drive only has one gear in it now. I cannot get it to shift at any RPM. palmerjustin@hotmail.com

You really have unique and great looking AMC cars in your club. We had at one time 68,69,70 AMX, his and her as our daily driver and the 70 for show. We only have the 70 390 4 speed go-pack etc for showing now. Alot of good information in your news letters.

Very cool site, I'm stuck here in Iraq for a year and came across your site. It really helps seeing nicely finished AMCs to pass the time out here. I own a 69 390 4spd AMX, 70 304 auto SST Javelin, and 401 auto 82 wide track Cherokee. I caught the AMC bug early, I'm just about ready to turn 24! Keep up the awesome work!
